Day 18

Today I woke up feeling energetic and well rested. I started off the day with Mate tea with t little coconut milk. Then, for breakfast I had some Green Goddess Silk soup. It was SO YUMMY! I have never been so excited about soup. The flavors were sweet, complex, and inviting. I named it Green Goddess because of this. It was amazing. I was fully satisfied and had plenty of energy to do my arm workout before lunch.

I rebounded for 15 minutes and then did 15 minutes of arms.  It is such a good workout for delts and triceps. After the workout, I had Roasted Red Pepper Delight soup and 1 Liter of water.

I worked online for a few hours and my energy stayed up. I did notice my mind started racing a bit so I decided to do Yin Yoga before bed. I had some more Green Goddess Silk soup after yoga.  I fell fast asleep and slept soundly.

Day 19

Today, I woke up feeling a bit groggy and slightly hungry.  I had Smooth Move tea and some Mate with coconut milk. Then, I made Purple Passion Soup. I got so excited making it and tasting how delicious it was. Who knew soup could create such giddiness? I am just loving how easy these soups are and how deliciously decadent they taste. I feel like I am being bad. Hehe!

I had Green Goddess Silk soup for breakfast again which is my favorite in the morning. Then, I did Vitality Yoga and worked up an appetite before having a bowl of Purple Passion, which was absolutely divine! Now, I am doing some work online before I tackle my dumbbell workout for the day.

Day 20

Today, I felt energized. My clothes are fitting loose but I can’t tell I’m losing weight. All I know is I feel strong and healthy. I did not drink a full gallon of water yesterday and can already see a slight difference in my skin. The lemon water really makes my skin radiant. I also noticed my teeth are whiter. I had Green Goddess Silk soup for breakfast again. I just love the cinnamon in the morning. It is filling too! I am trying not to eat until I am completely full though.

In the past, I had to eat until I was completely stuffed. Now I can see it had everything to do with trying to fill an emptiness inside and mask the subtle sadness I’d ignored for so long. I’m realizing through this cleanse, that I’ve had repressed emotions that are coming out gently. They were repressed and ignored over years of my life so became quite intimidating. The more I repressed an stuffed into the inner recesses of my cells, the bigger “the monster in the cave” became. This cave of emotions was the last place I wanted to go, so I turned my back on it and ate. If I could keep myself distracted with food and feeling full, I did not have to face them.

As a result of this cleanse, I have slowly been able to turn and face the cave. I’ve been able to coax the monster out little by little. What I’ve seen is it is not such a big scary monster after all. it just wants a little compassion like all of us. As I feel deeply into the moment, I can feel emotions as they arise. I can be present and aware with them as they move out. Then, the emotions change from a roaring tidal wave to a gently flowing stream of water. Under the stream, there is stillness…peace…bliss. All I have to do is be willing to turn toward the scary parts and meet them with a compassionate heart.

Emotions are a lot like children. They desire to be heard and seen. They desire love and acceptance. If we ignore them, they will act out.

The soups have been the perfect choice for transitioning back to food after the Master Cleanse because they allow a feeling of fulfillment without damaging my digestive system. It has been a perfect way to be more aware while I am eating and noticing the tendency of the mind in connection with the food. If I had gone right to solid foods, I could have easily slipped right back into numbing out while I eat. Now, I am able to appreciate the flavors of the soups but still be cleansing mind and body, releasing my old patterns of relating to food.

I will have Roasted Red Pepper Delight and Purple Passion for lunch and dinner. Then, I plan to do a dumbbell workout for my upper body.

Day 21

I started the cleanse at a size 11 and today was able to fit into my 8’s.  Now, I am slowly working on toning my muscles and burning fat. I am very happy with the results so far. My skin is clear, my body is strong, I have great energy. I did wake up a little groggy, but I am still getting deep rest at night. I know I am still detoxing as well. I am excited to say goodbye to old toxins for good. That is the beauty of deep cleansing. Once it moves out, you will not have to see it again.

I am continuing to do dry brushing and rebounding to help cleanse the lymph. I definitely felt like my lymph system was sluggish so that feels amazing to get it moving again. A backed up lymph system can really leave you feeling old.

I made a new soup today. It is the Veggie Bliss soup and it is really good for detox. It has the ingredients of daily a liver cleanse but tastes much better. I will have that for lunch and dinner. I had my favorite Green Goddess for breakfast as usual.

I did a full body weight workout with some dumbbell arm lifts. It was not too challenging but I still had to work for it. The soups seem to give me just the right amount of energy to burn during my 30 minute workouts. I don’t find my blood sugar spiking at all, which is something I’ve had in the past. This is really refreshing for me. The only negative I have is a sore left knee, but I am listening to it as I move.

I listened to an audio hypnosis for self-love tonight.

Feel free to comment with your own experience of cleansing. I love to hear success stories from others.

  1. So happy to have connected on Twitter and discovered both of your websites. Recipes look delicious and I appreciate you sharing your journey. I have weight to release and although I have been eating organic, juicing, eating mostly veggie for awhile the chocolates or chips and too much unconscious after dinner eating have not been kind. Thanks for helping!
