New Moon Ceremony – Calling in Quetzalcoatl
Quetzalcoatl: The Balancer
Aztec god and Shamanic archetype that is part bird, part serpent, capable of flight.
He represents the conscious world and teaches us how to create right relationship in our everyday life.
Quetzalcoatl is deeply connected to the Earth, tending its plants and stones, and brought music, dance, flutes and drums to the people.
Quetzalcoatl can bring balance and during the last 2 weeks, I needed it.
I received a call that my dad was being put into the hospital for a blood transfusion. He had internal bleeding and they had no answers.
I was already very busy with my business, planning a trip and now this. I called on Quetzalcoatl to teach me and trusted. It was interesting to feel his balancing powers even in one of the most stressful places.
I found myself actually choosing for joy, softness, and gentleness in the midst of the craziness of the hospital.
Even though I was aware of the energy of fear and worry floating around, I was still able to experience Quetzalcoatl working. I could feel him creating perfect timing and a subtle flow.
He was guiding me to find the harmony in all aspects of my life, challenging me to drop my preconceived notions of how it was supposed to look. I could see and release the “shoulds” to create more of a give and take dynamic.
If you would like to connect with Quetzalcoatl, try speaking to him directly. Ask him “Where can I use more balance in my life?” Be open to receive his teaching.

I’m working with Quetzalcoatl right now and he actually told me he’s cracking me up when I checked in with him. It’s true though because I’m laughing unguarded and loving anything funny since my fire.
Sending love and healing energies to your dad and you!
Debbie, I love your experience with Quetzalcoatl. It’s so easy for me to take things so seriously and miss the humor entirely. Since you mention it, I do recall quite a bit situational humor in all of it. I’m so glad you shared this.
How can I call on to quetzalcoatl? I have been trying for a while and maybe feel or see some things change but nothing serious? What would you guys reccomend?
Hi!
I really love your picture of Quetzalcoátl.
I’d like to use your picture in a project I’m working on.
Do you mind?
